Situated in the City of Ravenna, County of Portage and State of Ohio:
Known as being eighty-five (85) feet off the West end of Lot No. 34 in J. G. Tappan's Addition to the City of Ravenna, Ohio as the same is platted and recorded in Portage County recorded of Plats, Vol. 1, Pg. 33. Commencing at the intersection of the South line of Mill St. with the East line of the Cleveland and Pittsburgh Railroad right-of-way; thence along the Southerly line of Mill St. to an Easterly direction eighty-five (85) feet; thence Southerly to a point in the South line of said Lot No. 34 and eighty-five (85) feet East from the Southwest corner of said Lot No. 34; thence West eighty-five (85) feet; thence North along said right-of-way to the place of beginning and is the same premises deeded to Minnie M. Gray by Loran G. Cummings and wife per warranty deed August 17, 1909, as recorded in Vol. 226, Page 30 of Portage County Record of Plats. Be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways.
Said Premises Located at 409 Mill Road, Ravenna, OH 44266.
Said Premises Appraised at $70,000.00 and cannot be sold for less than two-thirds of that amount.
TERMS OF SALE: Cash.
A deposit of 10% of your bid, cash or check, payable to the Portage County Sheriff is required at the time the bid is accepted. The balance of Purchase Price shall be paid within thirty (30) days after the date of sale.
The parcel described herein is subject to the Portage County Standards Governing the Conveyance of Real Property, effective July 1, 1998. If this parcel is required to be re-surveyed to meet these standards, such resurvey is the responsibility of the successful bidder at Sheriffs sale. Copies of the Conveyance Standards are available for inspection at the offices of the County Auditor and County Engineer.
