Situated in the Township of Atwater, County of Portage and State of Ohio:
Known as being a part of Lot 26 in said township and more fully described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin found in the centerline of CH 54, Porter Road and being the Southwest corner of Lot 26; thence North along the centerline of Porter Road and the West line of Lot 26, a distance of 801.82 feet to the Southwest corner of a 6.69 acre tract now or formerly owned by Richard B. Hilker as described in Deed Volume 964, Page 852, (said corner being S. 89 deg. 53 minutes, 56 seconds E., 0.52 feet from an iron pin found); thence S. 89 deg. 53 minutes, 56 seconds E., along the Southerly line of said 6.69 acre tract and the Southerly line of a 6.87 acre tract now or formerly owned by Browning-Ferris Industries of Ohio Inc., a distance of 1366.57 feet to an iron pin found, being the Southeast corner of said 6.87 acre tract; thence S. 0 deg. 13 minutes, 42 seconds E., along the East line of Lot 26, a distance of 810.22 feet to an iron pin found, being the Southeast corner of Lot 26; thence N. 89 deg. 32 minutes, 54 seconds W., along the South line of Lot 26, a distance of 1369.84 feet to the true place of beginning. Containing in area 25.316 acres, more or less, but subject to all legal highways.
Description prepared and based on a survey by Robert E. Dickey, Jr. PS 6746 dated Nov. 4, 1998. Being the same premises as described in Deed Volume 1117, Page 325 as acquired by Browning-Ferris Industries of Ohio, Inc.
Said Premises Located at 1028 Porter Road, Atwater, OH 44201.
Said Premises Appraised at $85,000.00 and cannot be sold for less than two-thirds of that amount.
TERMS OF SALE: Cash.
A deposit of 10% of your bid, cash or check, payable to the Portage County Sheriff is required at the time the bid is accepted. The balance of Purchase Price shall be paid within thirty (30) days after the date of sale.
The parcel described herein is subject to the Portage County Standards Governing the Conveyance of Real Property, effective July 1, 1998. If this parcel is required to be re-surveyed to meet these standards, such resurvey is the responsibility of the successful bidder at Sheriffs sale. Copies of the Conveyance Standards are available for inspection at the offices of the County Auditor and County Engineer.
