Legal Aid’s clients are as diverse as our communities. They come from different cultural backgrounds, have varied family lives, a wide range of careers.

But as with the rest of our society, what binds them together is far more important than what differentiates them - a need to regain control of their lives, a desire to improve their situation and their community, and above all, hope for a better future.

This is what Legal Aid is all about. We help victims of circumstance to regain control, to improve, and to enrich their lives and their communities. And we do this in a way only lawyers can - through legal advocacy.

But we can’t do this work alone. We rely on you, our volunteers, our supporters, to help us sustain this work. By taking a case pro bono or by spreading our work on social media or by supporting our work through charitable gifts, you are a part of a legacy that will outlast us all - for transforming just one life has a ripple effect that reaches well beyond that one person or family. Families stabilize, neighborhoods build up, and communities thrive.

As we wrap up our 2018 Spring Appeal, I urge you to make a charitable contribution to keep this spirit of hope alive. No gift is too small to make a difference.

You can give now by visiting www.communitylegalaid.org/spring2018 or by sending a check or cash to 50 South Main Street, Suite 800, Akron, Ohio 44308. You can also give by clicking the “Donate” button on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CommLegalAid.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support, and for making such a difference in the lives of so many.
